| 内容記述 | The introduction of Alc Net Academy and Uchida's CALL room into the Arakawa Campus of TMCIT has provided it with the basis of English education by CALL. Moreover, the expected accreditation of TMCIT by JABEE and a report of the Central Council for Education this September requesting the strict assessment of college records suggest the necessity to improve the English ability of TMCIT's students.This paper treats the issue above in the following three sections; 1. CALL and the English ability of the students of a technical college needed for the accreditation by JABEE, 2. A report on the use of the CALL room, 3. Toward the Improvement of the English Ability of TMCIT's Students Clearing JABEE's Accreditation. The first section mentions the functions of CALL, the standard of the English ability of the students of a technical college for the accreditation by JABEE , and the circumstances of the introduction of CALL and Alc Net Academy into a national technical college. The second reports the lessons in the CALL room, its use besides lessons and its library use. The last discusses the validity of CALL for motivating English learning and its contribution to the improvement of the English ability of TMCIT's students, and suggests some hints for the effective use of CALL. | |||||||||||||
